Mashufaa is a martial art. It is a Swahili
word, which roughly translates as meaning the ‘spirit
of a warrior’.
A warrior is a person who can overcome fear through determination
and will. This is the essence of Mashufaa.
Mashufaa is a fighting
system utilizing the very best of the major fighting forms.
It is developed for defence not aggression, and as a result
teaches as one of its principle tenants: self discipline leading
to self-awareness, and self-confidence. We understand the
mind is equally as important as the body in development. Only
with the mind and body working in unison will you be able
to balance your energy and develop your internal chi force.
We teach relaxation techniques and meditation to support this
concept.
